Here is what we are loving, October 2015 edition!
Phonograph is a simple, materially designed, music player for android. It includes the standard features the any music player should plus the customization you'd expect from android.

Retune is an iTunes remote application that will allow you to control iTunes playback from your PC/MAC. So if you have a wireless speaker setup, this application will keep you in that wireless realm. Set up is easy and fast. One downside to note, the application is not exactly "materially designed" but it gets the job done!
